April means Spring Cleaning in the Cataloging Cave, a chore the Book
Elves dread. It's not entirely clear why they dread it- since they never
actually do it. But this year the debris level had piled up to the point
where it was either clean or find a new cave- and when nobody would rent
them a new cave they decided to bite the bullet, gird their loins, face
the music, put their noses to the grindstone, and all sorts of other
mean, nasty, ugly cliches- and they got out a bottle of Windex and
cleaned the windows. Well, the window -how many windows does a cave
have? And then, exhausted and emotionally spent, they called it a day.
But before the Book Elves set a dangerously tidy precedent for next
spring, they finished our latest catalog-
