Spring has sprung, the grass has ris, the Book Elves are into the Poetry
Biz! Living in the same Valley that Emily Dickinson did, and where
Robert Frost may once have owned barn (and because it sounded better
than Spring Cleaning) the Book Elves reinvented themselves as The Poetry
Elves this month, and began scrawling rhymes all over the walls of the
Cataloging Cave. Being the Book Elves, and having no idea how to spell
‘haiku’, their first stop was Limerickville, and there they have been
ever since. Rhyming with what one critic has termed “awesome
ineptitude”, they have created piles of verse which have been praised as
“almost adequate” and “deeply troubling”. They are also in search of a
publisher, so consider yourselves warned.
But before the Book Elves stopped searching for other phrases that rhyme
with ‘bucket’, they finished our latest catalog-
